We left the lovely little campsite at Gulpha Gorge, Hot Springs early, so we could get to Texas for lunch with a school friend of Mary’s. After a great lunch at Muddbones in Bonham with Tom & Margaret, we set up camp on The West Lake Crockett campground in the Caddo Grasslands and had it ALL to ourselves. A little slice of heaven, on West Lake, listening to the birds, frogs and watching a heron as the sun set, then rose the next day.
