Today we explored the Mesa Verde NP. Drove down to end of park and worked our way around all the points of interest and hikes. The Pueblo Indian created homes in the cliffs. It is fascinating how they built their homes and they still exist today. We also hiked to a place where they had left petroglyphs. Sadly there have been several fires on top of the Mesas over the years, but it was fascinating to watch nature recovering from the devastation.
