Day #9 – Great Smoky Mountains National Park

Today (Thursday) started early for Bob & Mary who beat the crowds to the Cades Cove loop. It was a nature drive, and nature did not disappoint. They saw loads of wildflowers and flowering trees, historic buildings, elk and a bear. Never to settle for just a car ride they ventured up to Abram Falls, a mere 7.5 miles. Sally on the other hand headed into Gatlinburg to visit a very friendly Napa guy who solved all electrical issues, and then spent the day relaxing back at camp. The day was rounded out perfectly with what may be the last campfire for a while as we turn west. Tomorrow Nashville here we come!
